Dr. H.J.M. (Henk) Schoot
is Director of the Thomas Instituut te Utrecht (Tilburg University) and lecturer in Systematic Theology at Tilburg School of Theology of Tilburg University. Henk Schoot is editor-in-chief of the Jaarboek Thomas Instituut te Utrecht and was the first Secretary of Studies at the institute (1990-2000).

Dr. C.M. Pumplun
is Secretary of Studies of the Thomas Instituut te Utrecht (Tilburg University). She is editorial secretary of the Jaarboek Thomas Instituut te Utrecht and the series Vertalingen van het Thomas Instituut te Utrecht.
She is also responsible for the administration of the institute, for its public relations, the website (www.thomasinstituut.org) and maintenance of the research facilities.
Cristina Pumplun studied German literature and Theology in Amsterdam. She wrote her PhD-thesis on the function of metaphors in 17th-century German devotional prose. Before becoming Secretary of Studies at the Thomas Instituut te Utrecht she was lecturer of German literature and culture at Radboud University Nijmegen and at the University of Amsterdam.
