HARM GORIS APPOINTED MEMBER PONTIFICAL ACADEMY

Dr. HarmGoris, member of the Thomas Institute, was recently appointed member of thePontifical Academy of St. Thomas Aquinas. Vatican Secretary of State HisEminence Pietro Cardinal Parolin signed the letter of appointment on February6, 2019. The Pontifical Academy of St. Thomas Aquinas consists of 50 scholarswho are renowned for their studies of the work of Thomas Aquinas, and conveneyearly in Rome. President of the Academy is prof. dr. S.-Th. Bonino op.

Goris will be the third member of the Thomas Institute appointed, after the late Jan Aertsen and the recently appointed Jrgen Vijgen, the second Dutch scholar appointed, and the first Dutch Catholic. Many congratulations to Harm Goris!
